Transformational
Ceremonies offer opportunities to come together in community to engage the healing and
creative power of ritual. These ceremonies work at the spiritual, energetic level to
transform impeding patterns in our energy fields and unleash our authentic expression.

| 2010: THE
SUMMER OF SHIFT |
We are living in a time of prophecy and profound change. This
Summer we are experiencing the energies of a rare astrological configuration known as the Cardinal
Climax, which signals a time of intense pressure and transformation. Powers of Earth and Cosmos are on the move, calling us to transcend fear,
open to the harmonizing power of love and dream a new world into being.
This Summer, the time is right -- and ripe -- for
transformation! Let's answer the call -- together.
6 Transformational Ceremonies will
be offered throughout the Summer, at the New and Full Moons and on the sacred holiday of Lughnasadh. You can join us for one or all of these transformational ceremonies:
June 12: Shedding Our
Stories
June 26: Ancestral
Unwinding
July 11: Restoring
Harmony: Ayni Despacho Ceremony
July 31: Liberating
our Medicine
Aug. 8: Clearing the
Ties that Bind
Aug. 21 & 22: The
End of the World as We Know It
Please Note:
Preparation and a few simple supplies may be required for some of these
ceremonies. Prior to the ritual, I will contact participants with information about
how to prepare, what to bring, etc. If you have questions, please feel free to
contact me to learn more about these transformational ceremonies. I recommend
registering early to allow time to reflect and prepare for each ceremony.
The ending times on these events are approximate. When we enter
ceremony, we step into sacred time and engage the process until complete. We may end
a little later or a little sooner than the projected times. I recommend that you
don't schedule other commitments for at least a few hours after these events in order to
allow time to honor and support integration of your experience.
Spiritual and energetic transformation is organic,
unfolding over time. As the energetic shifts ripple through all the levels of our being,
change manifests within and without. Shift can be dramatic and immediate or subtle and
progressive. It is important to support your integration process through mindfulness
and energetic self care.

12: Shedding our Stories (New Moon) |
| We are not our past.
Our past is merely a series of experiences: what we have been doing, not
who we are. Yet we give our past such power, we allow it to define us and dictate
the trajectories of our future. When we hold the imprints of the past in our energy
fields, it distorts our present, perpetuating old patterns, preserving old pains. Our
stories haunt us, whispering their weary tales of fear and limitation. It is time to
shed these stories and step boldly into the sacred Now. In this ceremony, we will call upon Sachamama, the Great Serpent Mother,
who teaches us how to shed the past as she sheds her skin, asking her to share her
powerful medicine of release and renewal. We'll turn our awareness inward to reflect
on the stories we revisit and relive again and again: tales of love lost, friendship
betrayed, missed opportunity, broken dreams, brutal abuse, righteous indignation, illusive
beauty and bitter regret. We will create prayer flags to honor and embody the energy of
these stories. With the support of Sachamama, we will release our prayer flags to the fire
surrendering our past and welcoming luminous transformation. |

26: Ancestral Unwinding (Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse) |
| We carry the unhealed stories of our ancestors
in our energy fields. From generation to generation these energies are carried
forward, perpetuating family patterns of dysfunction and limitation. Now is the time
to unwind these threads of the past. As we release these patterns from our energy
field, we bring healing to future generations and help to liberate the spirits of our
ancestors. In this ceremony, we will call upon Otorongo, Mother-Sister Jaguar, who
teaches us to transcend fear and limitation, asking her to share her medicine of miqui,
the power to break down dense, stagnant energies. We will choose 3 recent ancestors, who
are no longer in the land of the living, and use prayer sticks to unwind any cords of
connection to these ancestors that are not in harmony for us at this time. This is
an intuitive, spirit-assisted process which does not require an identification or naming
of these patterns. The release is facilitated on the energetic level. The unwinding sticks
are then offered to the fire to miqui (combust) the dense energies. As we bring
cleansing energy from the fire, we welcome the blessings, both known and unknown, which
our ancestors have brought into our lives.
We will be gathering for this ritual as the moon emerges from a partial/penumbral
eclipse. The eclipse will not be visible in Indiana, but its transformational
energies will be felt and welcomed. |

11: Restoring Harmony: Ayni Despacho Ceremony (New
Moon/Solar Eclipse) |
| We live in a loving and luminous Universe; our
natural state of being is harmony with all of Creation. The stresses of the human
experience, both personal and transpersonal, have distorted our relationship with
Creation, moving us out of harmony and into suffering. Now is the time to heal and
restore our loving and harmonious relationship with All That Is. In this ceremony, we
will call upon Kenti, Sister Hummingbird, who teaches us to trust in the sweetness
of life, asking her to help us restore harmony in our lives. Together we will create an
Ayni Despacho, a sacred offering bundle, to carry our prayers for harmony within and
without to the Powers of Life. When the despacho is complete, each person is scraped
with the offering bundle to release disruptions in the energy field which prevent us from
living in harmony. We will visit the sacred fire for clearing and blessings, then release
the despacho to the flames welcoming transformation and harmony.
We will be sharing this Ayni Despacho Ceremony during a total solar eclipse.
Although the eclipse will not be visible in Indiana, its energetic effects, intensifying
the energies of the Cardinal
Climax, will be felt globally. Together we will embrace this opportunity to
transform and transcend, opening to the support of a luminous and loving Universe.
Pleaqse bring at least 2 of the following items:
1/2 cup of light colored beans, 1/2 cup of light colored nuts or seeds, 1/2 cup of light
colored grains, 1/2 cup of sweet, light colored herbs |

31: Liberating our Medicine (Lughnasadh) |
| When we experience
authentic medicine, we are uplifted, healed, revitalized, reconnected with the ecstatic
song of life. When we express authentic medicine, the power of love, grace and
luminous creation flows through us into the world of form. Medicine is sometimes thought
of in terms of the spirit gifts and talents we express and share with the world. While our
gifts and abilities are ways in which we express medicine, they are not the medicine
itself. Medicine is the flow of luminous Source Consciousness re-animating and
re-harmonizing the world. Any time we open to allow the the Luminous to flow through
us, we are sharing medicine. Our skills and spirit
gifts are pathways through which we bring medicine to the world. Yet the flow of
medicine can become constricted when we become overly attached or identified with our
skills or our roles (such as teacher, mother/father, healer, manager, artist, caregiver,
problem-solver, etc.). We can also sabotage our capacity to express medicine through
self-criticism, resistance and perfectionism and other tricks of the ego.
In this ceremony, we will call on Master Maker, a spirit ally
from the realm of Faery, who embodies the essence of impeccable craft and skill, to help
us clear and energize our capacity to share medicine through our talents and skills.
We will create a Life/Death arrow (a prayer stick) decorated with symbols of our
talents, skills and spirit gifts; then bring our Life/Death arrows to the fire to clear
and energize the flow of authentic medicine. |

8: Clearing the Ties that Bind (New Moon) |
| When we come into relationship with another
person, energetic connections are activated. In a healed state, luminous energy flows
through these filaments of light, allowing for the free expression and exchange of love
without attachment or restriction. When we operate from fear, we create connections
which impose agendas and perpetuate dysfunctional patterns of interaction. These fear
based connections are so common that our culture has come to view them as a virtue,
idealizing the ties that bind and the tugging of heart strings. We have
mistaken control for communion, believing that to love and be loved in to ensnare each
other in restrictive cords. It is time to clear these energetic connections and open
the pathways of love. In this ceremony, we will call upon Kuntur, mighty Mother Condor,
who teaches to us how to live and love impeccably, asking her to share her fierce hearted
medicine with us. We will select a person with whom we share or have shared a significant
relationship. This could be a person you hold in high regard or someone with whom
you feel a great deal of conflict. We will be creating personal prayer bundles to honor
that person and cleanse the way between us. We will do this work with the intent to
restore harmony in our personal energy fields, not impose our judgment or agenda on
others.
When complete, we will hold space as each person is scraped with their prayer bundle to
release dense energies which create disharmony and restriction. We will visit the
sacred fire, releasing our bundles to the flames to welcome transformation and the
blessings of love and peace. |

21 & 22: The End of the World as We Know It
(Full Moon) |
| We create the world we live in from the
patterns, beliefs and assumptions we carry in our energy fields. The world we
experience, is the world we've created. Let's see if we can do better. We have
the ability to dream a new world into being. To create a new world, we must first liberate
ourselves from the patterns and assumptions of history and precedent. It's time to release
our attachment to the "way things are" and make space for new and luminous
possibilities. In this 2-part ceremony, we will call upon
Pachamama, Mother Earth, stepping up in partnership with her to clear a space for a more
harmonious planetary dream. Together, we'll create a mandala as a representation of the
world as we know it. We'll begin by creating the circular boundary of the
mandala to define the edges of the world that is. We'll reflect on our
experience of our world, including experiences we embrace and those we resist; then blow
these energies into items gathered in Nature (such as twigs, pine cones, leaves, etc.)
Each natural item will be added to the mandala, creating an energetic landscape of the world
as we know it. When compete, we will allow the mandala to rest on the Earth
overnight, asking Pachamama to break down and transmute any dense, disharmonious energies.
The next morning we'll return to the mandala to witness the
changes which have occurred and add anything which may have surfaced for us overnight.
Then, one by one, we will step into the center of the mandala and activate our intention
to release our attachment to anything within the landscape of the mandala which is
not in harmony. This releasing process will unfold at the energetic level with the support
of spirit. When complete, we will gather the natural items and release the
boundary of the circle, opening ourselves and our world to new possibilities. We
will come to the sacred fire to release the mandala materials and cleanse and bless our
energy fields. Upon returning to our homes, we will each create a simple mandala to open a
space for luminous possibilities. |
