Medicine Way

To understand the Medicine Way one must first understand the shamanic concept of medicine. Medicine is that which enhances our ability to live in harmony with All That Is. When we experience authentic medicine, we are uplifted, healed, revitalized, reconnected with the ecstatic song of life. When we express authentic medicine, the power of love, grace and luminous creation flows through us into the world of form.

The Medicine Way is a journey into wholeness, harmony, empowerment and authenticity through the experience and expression of authentic medicine.

Medicine Wheel

To live the Medicine Way, we must develop balance and harmony on both the inner and outer planes of existence. Working with a medicine wheel can help us to develop inner balance and wholeness while nurturing a harmonious relationship with all of Creation..

A medicine wheel is a sacred circle of connection in which we can come into direct contact with the great Powers of Life. Through this spirit alliance, we can heal, transform and access the wisdom we need to create in harmony, joy and beauty.

Medicine wheels can take many forms depending on culture, context and intent. In our journey, we will be working with a medicine wheel which connects us with Mother Earth below, the Sacred Cosmos above and from the 4 cardinal directions of East, South, West & North we will connect with 4 Singers, angelic beings who embody the dynamics of Hope, Trust, Love and Sovereignty.

Hope is the luminous power that opens us to new possibilities. The presence of the Singer of Hope creates a nexus of grace in which we can step out of our current trajectories and choose new and luminous directions.

Trust is the recognition of divine order within the fabric of the universe. The presence of the Singer of Trust awakens us to the inherent value of our creations, the luminous opportunities waiting to be discovered and claimed in each moment.

Love is the harmonizing energy of the universe. The presence of the Singer of Love enables us to transcend fear and invites us to immerse ourselves joyfully in the dance of creation.

Sovereignty is the capacity to express one's luminous nature without reservation. The presence of the Singer of Sovereignty connects us with Source-wisdom and calls us to unleash our authentic and luminous expression.

Medicine Bag

A core component of our journey will be creating and working with a personal medicine bag. While medicine bags can take many forms, we will be creating medicine bags in a manner derived from the shamanic traditions of Peru and incorporating the Singers Medicine Wheel. A medicine bag of this type is a great mystery. It is a living altar, a sacred space, which energizes and facilitates personal evolution, alliance with the powers of life and the magic of creation.

A well-tended medicine bag provides a stable foundation for your spiritual journey, catalyzing sustainable accelerated soul growth. Working with your medicine bag enables you to heal and transform with ever-increasing ease and clarity. As you work with your medicine bag, it progressively embodies and reflects the energies of your spirit and of the cosmos, becoming a powerful ally on the Way of the Luminous.

A medicine bag is also a responsibility. It requires care, commitment and co-creative partnership. It calls you to a high degree of impeccability, a clear intention to align with the Luminous and a commitment to service through the generous expression of your spirit gifts and wisdom.

Your Commitment:

Show up with enthusiasm & dedication. Regular attendance is expected. Absences disrupt the flow of the work & diminish the integrity of the group experience.
Attend to personal spirit work related to the journey and nurture your relationship with the medicine wheel and your medicine bag and on a day-to-day basis.
Prepare appropriately for group work and ceremonies.
Take responsibility for your personal growth & well-being throughout the journey.
Hold space with generosity and impeccability for the process of others.
Assist in the planning, preparation and facilitation of 1 of our ceremonies or spirit workings.
Stay in touch with the group between events by participating in our online discussion group.
