progressive nature of the Munay-Ki rites, workshops cannot be taken individually. Registration for the entire series
is required. |
ANNOUNCEMENT
I have added a special Introduction to the Munay-Ki Rites class for participants
in the Fall '08 Aligning With the Luminous.
This class will introduce the practice of
fire ceremony and provide the first 2 rites of the Munay-Ki.
This class will meet on
Tues. Aug. 26 & Sept. 9
from 6:30-9:30 pm. Cost: $45.

| Beginning the
Munay-Ki Journey: The word munay means "I
love you" or "Be As Thou Art." The Munay-Ki (pronounced
"moon-eye-key") are the nine great rites of initiation of the medicine way,
which come to us from the shamans of Peru.
The Munay-Ki rites empower us to live free of fear and express our transcendent
nature. Until recently, these rites have only been available to those who were
studying to be shamans. Now they are being offered to all those who sincerely seek
transformation and personal evolution.
The Munay-Ki rites are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. Once
received, these rites are seeds which, when tended and nourished, will help you to grow a
more luminous expression of your self.
Introduction to the Munay-Ki Rites offers you an opportunity to learn about the
Munay-Ki and receive the first two rites: the Bands of Power and the Healer's Rite.
You will also learn how to do fire ceremony (including a form that can be done with a
candle) to support and grow your rites in the traditional way.

| The Bands of
Power: The Bands of Power offer protection and
connection -- protection from toxic energies in your environment and connection to the
nourishing energies of Creation. When you receive this rite, luminous bands of
energy are installed in your energy field. These bands filter negative energies and break
them down into the elements of Earth,Water, Fire, Air and the pure light of Spirit,
transmuting them into energies which nourish your system. You will receive the Bands of
Power and learn how to energize and maintain them.

| The Healer's Rite:
The Healer's Rite brings you into the lineage of
luminous spirit Healers, who will assist you in your personal healing journey. This
rite invites you into a deep relationship with healing as a way of being. You will receive
the Healer's Rite and learn how to nourish and grow the seeds of this rite.
